Summer Teams Program Fact Sheet
Where are the practices?
· Blackberry Bay Park, Maria Gatta Park, Brookdale CC
What time are the practices?
· 6pm to 7:30pm
What is the start date of practices?
· June 1st

What are the directions to the practices?
· Blackberry Bay Park - Route 36 East or West to Oceanport Avenue. Take Oceanport Avenue to your first traffic light. Make a right onto Port au Peck Avenue. Follow Port au Peck Avenue for a few minutes until you see Blackberry Bay Park on your left hand side.
· Maria Gatta Park -Take GSP to Exit 105, take Rte 36 East to Oceanport Ave (8th light) turn left on Oceanport Ave and follow to Port-au-peck Ave (1st traffic light) turn right. Fields are on the left.

Supplemental summer program open to current USP Soccer Academy players and players outside the USP Soccer Academy program

Please note that we do use this program to identify players for our year round USP Soccer Academy teams.
Who will run the program?

All training and games will be conducted by USP staff coaches under the direction of Kevin McDermott, Director of Coaching
Where will it take place?
-
All training sessions will take place in Monmouth or Ocean Counties.
What can we expect from a soccer standpoint?
-
Emphasis on technical skills
-
Teams will participate in 2 tournaments

Training will be 1 time per week plus a week long summer select team camp

Roster of 18 players for age U11-U14, Roster of 14 players for age U8, U9, & U10
What is the commitment to a USP Soccer Summer Select team?
-
USP Summer Select teams practice one day per week Mondays 6pm to 7:30pm. Practices start in the beginning of June and end at the end of July.

The teams will attend two tournaments:

Neptune Tournament, NJ June 20 & June 21

NSR Region I Cup, NJ July 25 & July 26

USP Summer Select is not meant to take the place of the players existing team. The Select teams are put together to provide additional training for committed players during the summer. Please note that we do use this program to identify players for our year round USP Soccer Academy teams.
When will it take place?

Trainings and Tournaments will take place June through the end of July
What is the cost?

$355 for Select (uniforms, training, tournaments, etc)

$140 for Select Camp (5 days a week, 2.5 hours a day, Monday to Friday)

$495 total

July 20 to July 24 from 5:30pm to 8pm. Location Blackberry Bay Park, Maria Gatta Park, Brookdale CC
