USP Soccer Academy is the highest level program that we offer.  USP Soccer Academy offers cutting edge technical, tactical, psychological, and physical training for teams that are striving to develop their players to be ODP State, Regional, and National players, motivated to win the USYSA and US Club Soccer National Championships, and aspiring to develop their players to play at the collegiate level.  Our program has a proven track record with 8 teams winning the NJ State Cup, 6 teams winning the Regional Championship, and 2 team winning the National Championship.  In addition, we have developed over 70 athletes that have went on and attained Division I soccer scholarships.

USP Soccer Academy is currently run by Kevin McDermott, Frank Cocchi, Lissette Brandao, Rob Cavanaugh, Jon Schmid, Brittani Heller, Sam Areman, Matt Ritter, and Ted Ritter.  Kevin brings a wealth of experience with him to the program as he has established himself as one of the top club coaches in the country with his youth soccer successes over the past 12 years.  He has coached teams that have achieved 8 NJ State Cup Championships, 6 Regional Championships, 6 National Finalists, and 2 National Championship.  He focuses on the overall technical, tactical, psychological, and physical development of all players within the program.  Frank Cocchi brings with him a resume that includes 2 NJ State Cup Championships, 1 Regional Championship, 1 Kellogg's State Cup Championship, and 1 Kellogg's Cup National Finalist.  He has proven himself as one of the top soccer specific fitness trainers in the country as well as a top notch technical, tactical, and psychological expert.  Frank's fitness program improves our players speed, agility, first step quickness, explosive power, vertical jump, core strength and balance using the agility ladder, plyometrics, and many other techniques for improving athletic performance on the soccer field.  Lissette Brandao is the latest addition to our staff.  We are very lucky to have her.  She currently plays for the Portuguese Full National Team and our NJ Wildcats - W-League team.  She was a four-year starter for Rutgers University from 2000-2004.  At Rutgers in 2004, she started 18 of 19 games with two goals and one assist.  In 2003, started all 22 matches and led a Rutgers defense that allowed only .91 goals per match while also earning BIG EAST Academic All-Star honors.  In 2002, stared 19 of 20 matches posting one goal and two assists.  Red-shirted for the 2001 season due to injury.  As a freshman in 2000, started all 20 matches as a rookie and tied for second on the team in scoring with six goals and one assist for 13 points and was also named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star.  Led Union Catholic High School to three Union County titles (1997, 1998, 1999) and a Group II North state sectional title in 1999.  Named All-State three times by the NJGSCA (1997, 1998, 1999).  Earned the Union Catholic Senior Scholar-Athlete Award.  Helped guide her club team, the Wyckoff Torpedoes, to the 1999 State Cup championship.  She is an asset to our program.  Rob Cavanaugh was a great player at Monmouth University and has a great mind for the game.  He has had many successful youth teams over the years and is doing a great job with our younger teams.  He is also a former college and high school track and field star and to this day competes and wins marathons and 5K's all across the country.  His soccer experience and track and field experience are a huge asset to our program.  Jon Schmid played for the US Youth National team, for perennial power FC Delco, and was a great player for Monmouth University.  He is a wonderful coach and brings his wealth of playing experience to our players and makes them better.  Brittani Heller is an amazing coach.  As a player she captained her club team to two Region I Championships, her college team Monmouth University to the NCAA tournament, and also captained the NJ Wildcats W-League team.  As a coach she is doing a great job with our academy teams.  Ted Ritter is the most enthusiastic coach we have and brings that with him to every training session and that enthusiasm ripples through every team he coaches.  Matt Ritter the head coach at Middletown HS North also has a passion for the game and has done great work with all of our academy teams as well.  Sam Areman rounds out this field of elite coaches.  She focuses on our goalkeepers and assists us with many of our teams.  She is now the head coach of the new U8/U9 girls team we just put together and is doing a great job.  In conclusion, our USP Soccer Academy program encompasses all aspects of the game for total player development and has proven itself over the years by developing many top notch players and teams.
